Jersey City welcomes its 12th annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic, a highlight of the social season, on Saturday, June 1st.
Expect the usual showmanship of not only the actual sport of the event, but the star-studded spectators in hats and frills, lounging on what should be a glorious afternoon with plenty of Veuve at the ready.
Neil Patrick Harris will be hosting, Jordan Fisher from Hamilton will be singing the National Anthem and Alicia Keys will be performing later on.
Because, you know, this is…
How we do.
Beneficiaries include Keep a Child Alive and Liberty State Park.
Must be 21+ to attend. Tickets here.
As the Park continues to promote green living, no parking is provided on site. Instead, guests must arrive via ferry (from Manhattan) or the Light Rail (Hudson-Bergen Line). I’m pretty sure you can Uber or Lyft it, too. Whatever the case, there is still a trek to the grounds, so be heel-prepared (flats in purse or don’t care to be bare…foot).
Toast to the summer season,
JCG
