It’s that time of year again, Jersey City—when we get our bike on and ride throughout the six wards of Jersey City in the sixth annualJC Bikes Ward Tour. The festivities begin at 11am at Exchange Place on Sunday, June 7th. (Raindate is Saturday, June 14th.)
Enjoy a 16-mile ride on streets closed to traffic at an easy 10mph pace (with rest stops and a police escort). One finished at Exchange Place circa 1pm, celebrate with a street festival featuring live music, food, drinks, vendors and other entertaining attractions.
Registration is free, with a $5 suggested donation to fund BikeJC’s efforts to make cycling better, safer, more accessible and more fun in Jersey City.
Ward Toursign-in begin at 9am at Exchange Place. It’s recommended to get there before 10am so you can situate yourself and hype up before the tour.
Con Vivo is hosting a special event just for kids!
Enjoy family-friendly music, interactive performances, and learning designed for young audiences on Sunday, March 29 at 3pm at The Barrow Mansion (83 Wayne St.)
Children will have the opportunity to build their own instruments out of tubes, balloons, and tape and join in the concert’s grand finale. All materials are provided. And after the concert the children can bring their creations home!

Surf Cityopens! Soak up sun and sand at this just opened “beach” club at 1 Marin Blvd. (formerly SandBar). Wash the week away with a pina colada and stay for the live DJ at 10pm. Accessible by PATH, light rail, car (free parking) and boat (yes, you can dock it there).More info here.
Bike JCis holding its annualBike Ward Tourat 11am. The 15-mile ride travels through all six wards and is about fun, not speed. Register online or in person at 9am at the starting point, Exchange Street (near PATH station). Suggested donation of $5.Full details and route here.
