Try over 150 craft beers from local breweries while overlooking the New York City skyline and listening to live music on the Hudson River Waterfront Walkway at the Harborside Plaza Atrium (34 Exchange Place).
It’s Jersey City’s own celebration of Oktoberfest. Find your new favorite brew from the eclectic offering of local beers and ciders, and have the chance to speak with brewery representatives.
And to soak up the beer, there will be plenty of food vendors on site.
Choose between two sessions: 12-4pm & 5:30-9:30pm.
*General Admission $60, which includes unlimited tastings and a souvenir tasting glass
This Saturday, September 19th, is the all-out awesome All About Downtown Street Fair.
Stroll up or down Newark Avenue (between Grove St. and Jersey Ave.) to soak up live music, nosh on noms, sip adult bevvies, and shop from 11am-8pm. (Yay because I have to work until 5 and would hate to miss the best street fair ever!)
There will be over 100 local vendors, and plenty of fun activities for the kids, too.
The Jersey City culinary food scene is off the charts, and what better way to experience it than to enjoy a variety of cuisines from different venues—all at one reasonable price, and all in one day or one night?
Jersey Girls Food Tours (JGFT) showcase the gastronomic scene in Jersey City, perfect for locals and non-locals alike. Guests can enjoy YUMzzz from the best eateries in town and get a dose of JC history while walking from spot to spot.
My gals Janis Borroto and Alessia Aron (pictured from left to right, above) of JGFT invited me on a test run of one of their new Jersey City tours, titled “Best of Downtown.”
