2017: New Year, Better You

goals2

Happy New Year Jersey City!!

Whatever your goals are, my advice is to pick one thing and achieve that. You cannot do 10 things really well at once. But YOU CAN do one thing really well if you focus on that for life-improvement. Once you’ve mastered the first goal, tackle something else. Keep it simple.

There is room for improvement throughout the year. Here are some Jersey City spots to find your “A-ha” inspiration during every quarter of 2017.

Andy Cohen @ WORD in Jersey City

superficial-cover

Meet Andy Cohen and get a signed copy of his new book “Superficial” at WORD Bookstore (123 Newark Ave.) in Jersey City on Tuesday, November 15th at 7pm.

The Bravo TV host and executive producer of the “Real Housewives” franchise (and pretty much the mastermind behind everything awesome that I binge-watch) will be in house at WORD. Andy Cohen will be signing books (personalized) and taking photos in celebration of “Superficial.” The book details Andy’s personal and professional experiences, as well as Andy’s accounts of behind-the-scenes drama, antics and adventures—peppered with his own unfiltered thoughts. #nojudgment 😉

All attendees must purchase a ticket. Each ticket guarantees a spot in the signing line and 1 copy of Superficial signed by Andy Cohen. Buy your tickets here.

See you there,
JCG

Jersey City’s Midnight Market 11/4

midnight-market-jersey-city

Tonight Jersey City hosts its first Midnight Market!

Imagine your favorite Jersey City outdoor markets, except this one is indoors (at Harborside Atrium) and at night—and for adults only 😉

Think: leisurely strolling, shopping, eating, drinking while listening to a DJ spinning and oh, just the Manhattan skyline as a backdrop. The party starts at 6:30pm and ends at…? Yes, Cinderella time.

The DL #s on an “as each” basis:

Cover: $5
Yum Noms: $5
Adult Bevvies: $5
Parking if needed: $5

It is encouraged that you bring ca$h in increments < 20. ATMs will be available on site, because we’re prepared for you to be excited.

Oh, and my fave part is “Skip the line and Shine.” If you pre-purchase your entrance fee, you get to hop on through and get “glow” swag.

For all other info, here’s the FB link.

They call it a bazaar. I call it… ba-zha-zha-zoo…get your bumble bum over!

Shop local, support local, and have fun doing it,
