It’s that time of year where we welcome the most amazing annual flea market ever, that of Jersey City’s Riverview-Fisk Park. This year already boasts over 100 vendors (including me). 

Free zumba? 10:15 am
Free yoga? 11am
Children’s activities? ?

Additionally, there will be live music from Payaso Triste, GMJ Groove, Crash Gordan & Debra Dynamite, Sea of Otters and the Martin Maretto Duo.

Kanibal Home Stoop & Shop Sale! 8/3/13

Kanibal Home is having a stoop & shop sale today. This means more than just shopping: There will be q&a with their jeweler about estate jewelry; mini cones and ice cream sandwiches from Milk Sugar Love, and adoptable dogs for you to pet (a natural anxiety-reliever). A portion of the day’s profits will go to See Spot Rescued for pup Stacy’s surgery after a hit-and-run accident.

Origami! Tonight 7/25/13

Kanibal Home (213 Montgomery St.) is hosting an origami mobile-making lesson at 7:30pm tonight. $25 includes all supplies and refreshments, and 100% of the cost goes to the local artist teaching the class. Get you ‘gami’ on:
