Saturday 4/27/13:

Earth Day 2013 Jersey City-style. Volunteer to clean up Lincoln Park West, still suffering from the effects of Super-storm Sandy. 10am-3pm.

Meet the Authors! New Jersey’s Lindbergh and Kidnapping Trial authors Mark W. Falzini and James Davidson will be signing their book at the library’s Main Branch from 1-3pm.

Spring Beer Garden Raise money for the community’s outdoor activities and enjoy a day of beer, wine, food and fun at Concordia Learning Center, St. Joseph School for the Blind (across the street from the reservoir). For ticket information, click here.

Kennedy Dancers Performance  In celebration of National Jazz month and dance appreciation week, the Kennedy Dancers & Spirit of Life Ensemble will be performing at the Cultural Arts Center in the Miller Branch Library at 8pm. For more details, click here.

Jersey City Pet Owner’s Day Drop by Pershing Field to get your fluffy friend free rabies shots, free 3-in-1 shots, and licensing (cats do not need to be licensed in Jersey City). Clinics will also provide free counseling on spay/neutering, and for a small fee, microchipping, take-home dosages of Strongid (for worms), and activity flea/tick treatments. Keep your pet healthy.
