This Sunday, Dec. 14th, Santa and Mrs. Claus will take selfies with brunch-goers from 11AM to 1PM at eight restaurants along the Newport, Jersey City waterfront.
Santa and Mrs. Claus will be making rounds at Loradella’s, Morton Williams, Raaz, Cosi, Bertucci’s, Dorrian’s, Fire & Oak and Battello.
It’s time for the annual Santa’s Elf Factory in Jersey City. The next two weekends 12/13-14 and 12/20-21 from 10am-5pm at Tommy 2 Scoops (177 York St.) organized by JC Fun-raisers.
Gets the whole family into the holiday spirit with festive fun for children of all ages and their parents. “Become an elf” with your very own name and accessories, help Mrs. Claus decorate (and EAT!) cookies, create holiday cards and ornaments, learn the secret elf dance and then take home a very special photo with Santa! Frostee the Snowman will also be singing carols and tell seasonal stories!
Tickets: $20 per child (Sponsors will fund local children who don’t have the financial means to attend). Half of all net proceeds this year are being donated to KFM, a local non-profit autism advocacy group. They help provide college scholarships to people with autism.
Get elfishly festive,
Registration for JCSA Summer Sessions is now open for all 5-11 year-old girls! The program helps girls improve their soccer skills by playing small-sided games and focusing on a different core skill each week, including dribbling, shooting, passing and field position.
They are held at the Caven Point Sports Complex on Sundays July 13th – August 4th from 5:15pm – 6:30pm. Participants do not have to be affiliated with the JCSA or live in Jersey City, but JCSA players registered for the 2013-2014 season play free ($10 suggested donation) and new players pay $10 to cover insurance.
As always with all JCSA events, players should have shin guards, water and a parent / legal guardian near the field at all times.
