On Sunday, May 7th, Harsimus Cove is hosting their first neighborhood-wide stoop sale. And it will be big – over 30 households are participating.
Even better, a portion of earnings are being donated to the Church World Service to help refugee families in Jersey City. So you can get a little something while giving a little something back to the community.
Check it out from 10am-4pm. More details here.
Shop [very] local for a great cause = win//win!
This Sunday marks the opening of the 6th Borough Market, an outdoor family-friendly market located at 1 McWilliams Place (Hamilton Park) featuring quality homemade and vintage goods, gift items, jewelry, stuff for kids, beauty and bath treats, and then of course kids’ activities and food. Event is from 11am-4pm.

Personally, I’m going to try to find a bike to buy from We Build Bikes, because as I said before, I think it’s high time I join the cyclists of this great city.
If you can’t make it this weekend, the market will be held one Sunday each month for the rest of the year. Stay tuned for reminders of the future dates.
