Andcowork, the co-working space in the Charles&co. building (201 Montgomery St.) has become quite the happening spot in downtown Jersey City.
Created to be a hub for local artists and entrepreneurs, the space offers a full spectrum of office amenities and monthly events to inspire creativity and imagination, like photography exhibits, tech meetups, a movie series and wine tastings.
The 20,000 sq. foot space is a mix of classic and modern furnishings. Chairs, clocks, cabinets and fire alarms salvaged from the Hamilton Square development (formerly St. Francis Hospital), adorn the rooms. Andco has Finnish lighting by Muuto, and a living green wall, meditation room, and a terrace.
Of course, there are your typical offices, conference spaces, open desks and community tables, a kitchen, and all of the machines you would need to conduct business.
There are several options for membership, ranging from $250-$800 per month, and some events are open to the public if you want to experience the Andco space.
